See that no one returns evil for evil; rather, always seek what is good (both) for each other and for all. Rejoice always. Pray without ceasing. In all circumstances give thanks, for this is the will of God for you in Christ Jesus. (1 Thess 5:15-18)
Put on the armor of God so that you may be able to stand firm against the tactics of the devil. For our struggle is not with flesh and blood but with the principalities, with the powers, with the world rulers of this present darkness, with the evil spirits in the heavens. (Eph 6:11-12)
Do not be conquered by evil but conquer evil with good. (Rom 12:21)
For I know that good does not dwell in me, that is, in my flesh. The willing is ready at hand, but doing the good is not. For I do not do the good I want, but I do the evil I do not want. Now if (I) do what I do not want, it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells in me. So, then, I discover the principle that when I want to do right, evil is at hand. For I take delight in the law of God, in my inner self, but I see in my members another principle at war with the law of my mind, taking me captive to the law of sin that dwells in my members. Miserable one that I am! Who will deliver me from this mortal body? Thanks be to God through Jesus Christ our Lord. Therefore, I myself, with my mind, serve the law of God but, with my flesh, the law of sin. (Rom 7:18-25)
As he was entering a village, ten lepers met (him). They stood at a distance from him and raised their voice, saying, «Jesus, Master! Have pity on us!» And when he saw them, he said, «Go show yourselves to the priests.» As they were going they were cleansed. And one of them, realizing he had been healed, returned, glorifying God in a loud voice; and he fell at the feet of Jesus and thanked him. He was a Samaritan. Jesus said in reply, «Ten were cleansed, were they not? Where are the other nine? Has none but this foreigner returned to give thanks to God?» Then he said to him, «Stand up and go; your faith has saved you.» (Luke 17:12-19)
You belong to God, children, and you have conquered them, for the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world. (1 John 4:4)
