(9) Old sins and new sins.

I have not come to call the righteous to repentance but sinners. (Luke 5:32)

And when he comes he will convict the world in regard to sin and righteousness and condemnation: sin, because they do not believe in me; (John 16:8-9)

Peter (said) to them, «Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins; and you will receive the gift of the holy Spirit. (Acts 2:38)

Everyone who commits sin commits lawlessness, for sin is lawlessness. (1 John 3:4)

«This is the covenant I will establish with them after those days, says the Lord: ‘I will put my laws in their hearts, and I will write them upon their minds,’» he also says: «Their sins and their evildoing I will remember no more.» Where there is forgiveness of these, there is no longer offering for sin. (Heb 10:16-18)
