(86) Kind is firm.

Act firmly, and the LORD will be with the good. (2 Chr 19:11)

Then God said, «Let there be a dome in the middle of the waters, to separate one body of water from the other.» And so it happened: God made the dome, and it separated the water above the dome from the water below it. (Gen 1:6-8)

The LORD is our God, the LORD alone! Therefore, you shall love the LORD, your God, with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your strength. Take to heart these words which I enjoin on you today. Drill them into your children. Speak of them at home and abroad, whether you are busy or at rest. Bind them at your wrist as a sign and let them be as a pendant on your forehead. Write them on the doorposts of your houses and on your gates. (Deut 6:4-9)

This rather is what I commanded them: Listen to my voice; then I will be your God and you shall be my people. Walk in all the ways that I command you, so that you may prosper. (Jer 7:23)

You have been told, O man, what is good, and what the LORD requires of you: Only to do right and to love goodness, and to walk humbly with your God. (Mic 6:8)

what does the LORD, your God, ask of you but to fear the LORD, your God, and follow his ways exactly, to love and serve the LORD, your God, with all your heart and all your soul, to keep the commandments and statutes of the LORD which I enjoin on you today for your own good? (Deut 10:12-13)

Therefore, my beloved brothers, be firm, steadfast, always fully devoted to the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain. (1 Cor 15:58)

Be on your guard, stand firm in the faith, be courageous, be strong. Your every act should be done with love. (1 Cor 16:13-14)

Nevertheless, God’s solid foundation stands, bearing this inscription, «The Lord knows those who are his»; and, «Let everyone who calls upon the name of the Lord avoid evil.» (2 Tim 2:19)
