(31) Judges and people.

That year, two elders of the people were appointed judges, of whom the Lord said, «Wickedness has come out of Babylon: from the elders who were to govern the people as judges.» (Dan 13:5)

Their hands succeed at evil; the prince makes demands, The judge is had for a price, The great man speaks as he pleases, The best of them is like a brier, the most upright like a thorn hedge. The day announced by your watchmen! your punishment has come; now is the time of your confusion. (Mic 7:3-4)

Now therefore, O kings, show discernment; take warning, O judges of the earth. Worship the Lord with reverence and rejoice with trembling. (Ps 2:10-11)

God is a righteous judge, and a God who has indignation every day. (Ps 7:11)

The Lord is in His holy temple; the Lord’s throne is in heaven; His eyes behold, His eyelids test the sons of men. The Lord tests the righteous and the wicked, and the one who loves violence His soul hates. (Ps 11:4-5)

The eyes of the LORD are in every place, keeping watch on the evil and the good. (Prov 15:3)

He rules by His might forever; His eyes keep watch on the nations; Let not the rebellious exalt themselves. (Ps 66:7)

Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God almighty, who was, and who is, and who is to come. (Rev 4:6)

because God will bring to judgment every work, with all its hidden qualities, whether good or bad. (Eccl 12:14)

And if I drive out demons by Beelzebul, by whom do your own people drive them out? Therefore they will be your judges. But if it is by the Spirit of God that I drive out demons, then the kingdom of God has come upon you. (Matt 12:27-28)

For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may receive recompense, according to what he did in the body, whether good or evil. (2 Cor 5:10)
